How to bring passion to your marketing?

You should be marketing every single day.

The tendency for most businesses is to fall into the “I’m too busy” pattern. The truth is, too many businesses neglect their marketing until their situation is fatal, and then they become swamped and can’t possibly find enough time to get back on track. So the best approach is to stay on top of your marketing, do something marketing-related everyday, and always be on the lookout for innovative ways to present your product or service.

The second principle would be to enjoy what you’re doing. Sure, marketing may not be fun for everyone, so don’t look at it as marketing, look at it as sharing.

Here’s an example, think of the last time you ate at a good restaurant and told your friends about it. Guess what? That’s marketing – sharing your interests and passions. You’ve got find a favorable reason as to why you’re in the business you’re in.

Get in touch with that joy, and then share it. Share that passion and energy. Then it doesn’t look like marketing. It looks like a thrilling experience of sharing something you’ve discovered with people who will welcome it and in return will actually pay you to know more about it. Because your energy is so high when you’re passionate, that energy is transferable – it’s contagious and motivates people to buy.

When you are in touch with that passion, are coming from that place of wanting to share because of the joy of what you discovered, and you want the people who will most benefit from it to hear it, then you will start developing marketing ideas that people have never thought of before.

Remember, a large part of the passion is helping people – getting people to live extraordinary lives and introducing them to others like you who are passionate and outstanding at what you do.
